This photo was taken circa
March 1957. Apparently, WCCO-TV's promotion department first
planned to use a wider shot, but instead chose this close-up
cropped from the original photo (probably to better display Axel's
handsome "fizzizzeeognomee"). The uncropped version
is available as an 8" X 10" photo from the
Pavek Museum of Broadcasting. |
