| "Ye Ancient
Order of Chestnut Chasers" Membership Card Clellan's fondness for old jokes, or chestnuts, was lampooned on this card which was handed out to people who visited the radio studio at 7 a.m. to watch Clellan do his show Almanac of the Air. The card, dated circa November 1941, came with a detachable postcard that contained a poll on Northrup, King products and the radio program. And yes, it's that same publicity photo again! |
