| From 1947 to 1950, Clellan Card hosted WCCO radio's late-night program Spinner Sanctum. At the same time he was featured on the early morning Marshall-Wells Show, as well as appearing on various other shows throughout the broadcast day -- a truly grueling schedule. When Clellan returned to WCCO radio in 1953, he also returned to Spinner Sanctum... but only on Saturday nights. Here he considers some selections from the WCCO record library (long gone, unfortunately) for an upcoming weekend show. |
